The Water Research School was formed to provide research education in water at a high international quality. We offer courses to PhD students and industry. We form a community of PhD students, their supervisors, and collaborators in the water industry in Sweden. We do this through our courses, and in our networking activities and a mentor programme.

The School has been financed by Swedish Water (Svenskt vatten) and FORMAS, the Swedish Research Council for Sustainable Development. It was founded in 2017. It brings together people from Universities in Sweden, the Swedish Water research clusters VA-teknik Södra, DRICKS, VA-kluster Mälardalen, and Dag&Nät, and Sweden Water Research.
